NATIONAL HOTELS OF THE YEAR® | SCOTLAND

This year we're Shaking It Up as we move into our 22nd season! We've listened to you - and rethought events. Instead of focusing all on one single night - now there are so many other industry dinners (often limited by size to the same venues in the Central Belt) - this is an opportunity to make things more national, less expensive, more flexible and up-to-date. Boutique dinners, exciting dances, a big grand finale... they'll all feature!

The Hotel Awards, Industry Honours and Hotel People Awards will now be presented in 3 Parts across the year - and across the nation.

There's a sparkling Spring Awards Dinner in a charming castle in Glasgow where arrival drinks will clink in an elegant conservatory and a beautiful boutique dinner will accompany the presentation of Part 1 of the awards. The above link has both Event & Category details.

Summer sees the hotel awards, for the first time, held outside Glasgow or Edinburgh as we hold a big Summer Awards Ceilidh celebration in a fab ballroom overlooking the silvery Tay in Dundee - at the Banqueting Hotel of the Year 2025, no less - as we present Part 2 of the awards. This year the 22nd Annual Awards Night will be in Edinburgh at the Sheraton Grand and it'll be a truly special occasion when the whole process comes to an exciting grand finale climax - with just as much glamour and emotion but a more efficient presentation structure. The Spring and Summer awards are a permanent change. We will hold them across the country in future years - these awards are, after all, national... we're thrilled now to be able look at celebrations in Aberdeen, Inverness, Perthshire or southern Scotland in future.

So, the new 2026 programme will make everything easier, more interesting and yet every inch as glittering!
