This year we're Shaking It Up as we move into our 22nd season! We've listened to your feedback, and have reimagined our awards presentation. Instead of focusing all on one single (long!) night, we're hosting three Awards Season events across the year and country. Unlike when we began the HOTY awards back in 2003, there are now many other industry dinners - mostly limited by size to the same venues in the Central Belt. So this is a great opportunity to make things more national, less expensive; more flexible and up-to-date. And every bit as stylish and enjoyable!

First up this year is a boutique 2026 Season Launch & Presentations event on the striking 7th floor Nor' Loft at Market Street 'Design Hotel'. Enjoy arrival drinks and a grazing lunch overlooking the city. The event will see the first Gold Welcome Plaques presented, a selection of Finalist Presentations, the SummerStars™ and the reveal of the new Hotels of the Year Guide, plus the presentation of Destination of the Year 2026 and, excitingly, Part 1 of the Regional Winners of the top National Hotel of the Year Scotland title. Summer Awards Season Lunch

Summer sees the awards held for the first time outwith Glasgow or Edinburgh as we host the Summer Awards Season Lunch celebration in a gorgeous ballroom set in gardens overlooking the silvery Tay in Dundee - in the Banqueting Hotel of the Year 2025, no less - as we present the Summer Awards collection. 22nd Season Finale Awards Night

This year the 22nd Season Finale Awards Night Gala Dinner will be held in the capital at the Sheraton Grand Edinburgh. As always, it'll be a truly special deluxe dinner occasion when the whole process comes to an exciting climax - with glamour and emotion, and a more efficient presentation system will be clearer and faster. The Spring and Summer Season Awards are a permanent change. We will hold them across the country in future years - these awards are, after all, national... we're thrilled now to be able look at celebrations in Aberdeen, Inverness, Fife, Perthshire or southern Scotland in future. So, the new 2026 programme is excitingly different - and yet every inch as precise and glamorous!
