This 29th November sees the National Hotels of the Year® Scotland Awards Night held for the first time outwith Glasgow or Edinburgh as we host the 23rd annual celebrations in a first-class ballroom set in elevated gardens overlooking the silvery Tay. It's all happening on the edge of Dundee, at the reigning Banqueting Hotel of the Year - the independently-owned and managed Invercarse Hotel.

At the event we present the 2027 Hotels of the Year Awards, plus this year's Individual & Industry Honours - in magnificent company... yours!

We will also reveal in an industry launch the all-new, relaunch of the hotel guide first established 25 years ago by our very same team.

Arrive to a Dundee Gin welcoming cocktail, followed by a full 4-Course Dinner with cheese and lovely little extras - all set up in a glamorously decorated, elegant ballroom. Expect entertainment, happy times with fellow hoteliers from across the land, and an authentic atmosphere like no other hotel awards.

This year is the start of our move to three separate award occasions - and the improvements will be evident on the night with smoother, more efficient presentation sequences. We hope you'll enjoy it!

Please book Tickets via button above. There are Gorgeous and Fabulous (VIP) Tickets & Tables - but only a very few of the latter remain. Do please book early as the event will be full. We've kept prices down - the Gorgeous Ticket at £119, for example, before the booking fee, is £10 less than last year.

A big dinner occasion, a night of entertainment and great times, wonderful food and fantastic company, will be an official part of ScotHot 2027 and partners with the Scottish Tourism Alliance after their Signature Events. As part of the occasion we will present our HOTYS™ Chef, Food, Dining & Drink award categories. We are hosting the evening along with the above two organisations, plus partners The Event Collective - it'll be a big night indeed! The venue is the Crowne Plaza Glasgow Ballroom.

A wonderfully celebratory summer lunch and party worthy of honouring the full range of Staff, Teams, Management & Leadership working today across Scotland in our hotels. The event will include all departments - from reception and FoH to specialised management roles like revenue or marketing, plus housekeeping, grounds and maintenance, weddings and spas, hospitality in general - and many other areas. A full list of categories will be on the dedicated Event Page when launched early in 2027 when the venue will be revealed.

The transition to three dedicated separate awards events is a permanent change. You'll see the full 2026/27 schedule above! We will hold the three wonderful occasions across the country in future years - these awards are, after all, national... and we're thrilled to be able to hold big celebrations in, for example, Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness, Fife, Perthshire or southern Scotland. The November 2027 24th Awards Night is already confirmed for Apex Dunblane Hydro Ballroom, for example.
