Hotel Blue Plaques™

Update - December: Please note we are making a design change prior to the launch of the plaques this month and will update this page shortly. The design concept shown with the highly customised text around the logo will not change, but the logo will.
The central logo is an endorsement by National Hotels of the Year® Scotland. The upper line in gold is an eye-catching, 2-3 word 'original' description of your hotel's prime quality or characteristic. The lower line of text in white is a more straightforward classification of your hotel type and nature.
Both lines of text are agreed between yourselves and the Awards.

no longer offer QA stars.
The plaques
augment the Hotels of the Year® Scotland awards and the Scottish Hotel People Awards™ awards - and are available to PRIME Members. They are integrated with the new consumer guide website coming in 2026. There is no additional fee, only a small (cost price) supplement if a more expensive framing option is chosen.
Plaques can be delivered by post for speed or we'll be delighted to present properly with background banner, etc., on site.

FIRST 2025 RECIPIENTS
In December 2025 we will list the very first 20 hotels to receive a Scottish Hotel Blue Plaque 2026 - and will of course carry a feature of any presentations, or your pictures, on our socials. Thereafter we'll release the Plaque Holders monthly through the year.
