National Hotels of the Year® Scotland proudly presented the 2025 Hotel Honours™ for success, achievement and distinction this Spring. Thank you, all who came, making it such a fine night - helping raise £3K for our friends at HIT Scotland. Our 21st Awards Night partnered ScotHot where our Chef of the Year trophy was presented on the Scottish Tourism Alliance stage.

The evolved Seasonal Stars™ and select Special Seasonal Awards will be announced annually in Autumn to mark achievements over the main season. We'll also publish the First Shortlist of Finalists for National Hotel of the Year 2026 title plus certain other categories. These will all be revealed on Wednesday 29 October, 5 months before the 22nd Awards Night HOTYS on 22 March. We've unveiled Hotel Blue Plaques™ and the first recipients will be presented then in person or shortly after at hotels.

After a great deal of consideration, chewing of the fat and rejection of ideas... we'll finally demo pages from the new Consumer Website App guide, as we shape it up to be something of true value to Scottish hotels. We've just appointed a Project Support Assistant. Thanks for your patience - we think it'll be worth it.

The Awards' new Scottish Hotel People of the Year™ event will be early in Winter annually - we'll shortly confirm the pre-Christmas lunch party date, likely 3rd December. Hundreds of Scottish hotel staff and management are already included... and we're planning an occasion with a vibrant, happy difference!

At our 22nd annual National Hotels of the Year® Awards Night gala dinner in Glasgow the 2026 Hotel Honours™ will be presented. The renowned event, with improvements to presentation efficiency, focuses on awards to hotels plus the top yearly National Honours for Industry Leadership & Achievement - with most people awards being presented annually at the big December event.

Early this 2026 season we will announce the extensive new Presiding Team which will draw on a wide range of sectors and knowledge in a new development to guide and empower the Awards and the forthcoming consumer guide.
