National Hotels of the Year® Scotland proudly presented the 2025 Hotel Honours™ for success, achievement and distinction this Spring. Thank you, all who came, making it such a fine night - helping raise £3K for our friends at HIT Scotland. Our 21st Awards Night partnered ScotHot where our Chef of the Year trophy was presented on the Scottish Tourism Alliance stage.

N O V E M B E R
We revealed the First Finalists for the top National Hotel of the Year 2026 title on 29 October - 5 months before our 22nd #HOTYS Awards Night on 22 March. The evolved Seasonal Stars™ Achievement Awards will be announced annually, end-of-season in early November, to mark success over the main season. We've unveiled Hotel Blue Plaques™ and the first recipients will be presented in November - in person, or shortly after at hotels.

After a great deal of consideration, we'll finally demo pages from the new Consumer Website guide, as we shape it up to be something of true value to Scottish hotels. We've just appointed a Project Support Assistant.

Our new Scottish Hotel People of the Year™ event will be in Winter annually - we'll shortly confirm full details. Hundreds of Scottish hotel staff and management are already included... and we plan an occasion with a vibrant difference!

Our team's 22nd annual National Hotels of the Year® Awards Night gala dinner is in Glasgow on 22nd March. Hotel Honours™ will be presented at the renowned occasion - featuring major improvements to presentation efficiency. This event focuses on awards to hotels plus top yearly Individual Honours for Industry Leadership, Special Achievement & Lifetime Service. Most staff awards will be presented at the new Scottish Hotel People of the Year event.

Early this 2026 season we will announce the extensive new Presiding Team which will draw on a wide range of sectors and knowledge in a new development to guide and empower the Awards and the forthcoming consumer guide.
